New Tungsten Wedding Rings

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Aaron’s Online Boutique has added men’s Tungsten rings to our site. For now, we have two styles available.

We have a faceted, mirror style ring and a basic 8mm comfort fit ring. We have already sold a lot of them because of the incredible price. Usually Tungsten rings sell for $200 to $250 in retail stores. Our price is $49.00 for the 8mm ring and $65.00 for the faceted design.  Similar rings sell for $200 to $250 in retail stores.  Your saving is huge!

Tungsten is a wonderful type of metal because it doesn’t scratch. I was at a party in the park this past Saturday and was casually talking about the rings. When I showed them to some of the married men, they all wanted to have one.

If you are getting ready to get married or know someone who is, send them to our men’s tungsten ring page. For your referral, we will send you a beautiful initial pendant from one of our wonderful vendors. (they have to purchase a ring for you to qualify)

Halloween Caramel Apple Desert

Friday, September 4th, 2009

My daughters do a slight variation of this recipe that is also extremely delicious. Their recipe uses Snicker candy bars. I will be posting that soon so make sure you check back with us.

3 tablespoons butter

4 cups green apples (about 5 medium)

1 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon apple pie spice divided

1 package 8 oz cream cheese softened

1 jar (12. 1/4) ounces carmel ice cream topping, divided

1 carton (12 oz.) frozen whipped cream, thawed and divided

2 loaves (10. 3/4 ounces each) frozen pound cake, thawed and cut into 1 inch cubes

In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in apples, pecans, brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice. Cook and stir for 8-10 minutes or until the apples are tender.

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in 1/2 cup caramel topping and remaining apple pie spice. Fold in 2 cups whipped topping.

In a 3 1/2 qt. trifle bowl or glass serving bowl, layer a third of the cake cubes, cream cheese mixture and apple mixture. Repeat layers twice. Garnish with the remaining whipped toping and drizzle with remaining caramel topping. Sprinkle with additional pie spice if desired, Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

We carry some wonderful children’s and adult Haloween costumes.
